Review on πŸ”§ Efficient and Compact Woodworking Tools: WETOLS Pocket Joinery by Rob Dixon

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This pair looks like another set of carpenter's hands

Failed to load media. I bought them for scenarios where a traditional end clamp won't hold pocket screw blanks, namely when the pieces being joined are of different widths and don't sit flush on either side. I was a bit skeptical as I had never heard of this brand before but the price seemed great compared to the manufacturer that makes my drill and blades with bits. The clamping depth of this size was greater and suited every type of part from my 1/2 and 3/4 plywood projects to large 2x4 assemblies. Hand. Overall I found them reliable and easy to use. Bonus points for a large knob that is easy to adjust when the clamp is secured to the workpiece, which I need because I'm bad at guessing clamp depth by eye.

Pros
  • Hand and power tools
Cons
  • Slightly torn
