Review on 👟 Skechers Women's Chill Luxe Flat Shoes by Marcelo Apriando

Let me start by saying that I didn't want to buy these shoes and I certainly didn't expect to like them. After receiving another passive-aggressive "reminder" via email from all employees that our workplace dress code prohibits tennis shoes. I reluctantly decided that after three years of flagrantly violating the guidelines, I had better look at other shoe options. I asked some employees at a local shoe store where I could find very comfortable yet professional looking shoes for work. But, I asked, is there something that also goes over the ankle or at least covers most of the foot so I can wear socks without looking like a total wimp? (Without this higher coverage design, I would be forced to wear invisible socks, which I've found to constantly fall off my feet. Life is too short to put up with unnecessary hassle.) Confused, a member of staff kindly brought me to some " almost close" variants culminating in a pair of Skechers at outrageous prices. At this point I was almost ready to give up looking at this particular store, but just out of politeness I looked around the shoeboxes I'd thrown away at least once and pretended to weigh my options. But this time, BOBS caught my attention. Maybe I was just more willing to make compromises at the end of an unsuccessful search, but they seemed pretty damn close to what I was looking for. I decided to try them on. And the rest, as they say, is history. Size wise I bought a pair of 8.5's that evening (choice was limited). They are a little looser in the socks but are fine to wear unless I'm running short distances. And since this pair was brown I decided to buy a second pair online in black - this time a size 8. I was nervous at first because the smaller pair felt MUCH tighter in the socks but after a few days they stretched in my opinion a bit and have made themselves comfortable. Both couples are EXCELLENT for work by the way. :) (I don't feel so stupid wearing them with socks!)
