I bought this case for extra protection when carrying my laptop abroad in a backpack. Even though my backpack is in my carry-on, it still beats a little when I'm on the road 24 hours and working in a third world environment. I didn't know what to expect when I ordered it but I found this case to be a great product and great protection for my laptop. I like that the zipper doesn't get in the way when packing and unpacking the computer. The flash does not come into contact with the computer. It's good you don't scratch it. It's well padded but thin enough that I can put it in the computer section of my backpack. It has extra pockets which I probably won't use unless I'm using it for something flat. Because it's such a well-made product, I now use it for more than just travel. I keep my computer in it when I'm not using it. Sometimes I just carry my computer in this protective case when I'm on short car trips or in other situations where I need to have my laptop with me. This case is a good product for the price! I am very happy with it.
