I've always been a Gillette customer. They are now too expensive. I switched to a straight blade which costs me 1/4 the price of a safety blade. I love packaged soap. The scent is not overpowering and lathers well. The brush is durable and does NOT smell like dead animals. Those who complained probably left him soaking wet, and we all know that wet animals smell bad. Again: NO BAD SMELL. I love this company and have other products from them. Considering the price, this set makes a big difference!
