I bought this product to use with Raspberry PI 4. With the default settings I've seen very slow startup times as well as unmount errors in dmesg. The implementation of UAS on this device does not work well with PI. Adding the following line at the beginning of the /boot/cmdline.txt file will disable UAS and devices will revert to usb-storage:usb-storage.quirks=152d:0578:u. After applying this change and reloading the test, the tests I ran show a write speed of 115 MB/s and a read speed of 225 MB/s. Large file transfer speeds start at 200MB/s and then drop to 45MB/s. I don't know if the low sustained throughput is related to this product or my mSATA drive. Anyway, for $9 gets rid of the SD card for me and using the Pi seems a lot faster.
