I bought these inexpensive non-OEM toner cartridges for my Canon color laser printer. I run the music bingo entertainment business and use a lot of toner to print my playing cards. The graphics are high quality vector graphics and have many colors on the cards and flyers I print. The paper is a semi-gloss heavyweight 2-ply to prevent the Dauber ink from bleeding onto the paper and soiling the underside. I've tried several other cartridges and they throw out a lot of excess toner per page after about 75-100 pages. I don't think they can handle the heat that comes from running like that. In any case, these cartridges don't seem to have any heat issues and their print quality is on par with very expensive OEM cartridges. I gave them 3 stars for two reasons. 1) There is no return/recycle option in the box like OEM cartridges. This is a problem for me. 2) Cartridge status is not recognized by my printer. Writes that the cartridges are empty and the print quality is not guaranteed. This is a really big problem for me because if the cartridge runs out during a print job I'm wasting my money on paper that may not have all the colors on the page. The paper I use costs about $0.03 per page, so running out of cartridges can be a risk. I could do my runs on 10 pages, but that's really inconvenient, impractical, and I'd just assume the cartridges were almost empty. To get a 5-star rating from me, a return/recycle option for old cartridges is required and the status of the cartridges must be readable by my printer. If none of these issues bother you, I don't see what you would be doing wrong in buying them. EDIT: I've upped this rating to four stars. The instructions do not mention troubleshooting steps to fix a cartridge level not being read by the printer. After resetting the printer by removing the cartridges, turning off the power, and then reinserting the cartridges and turning on the power, the problem was resolved.
