This is my second set because I love it so much. I'm very embarrassed to admit it, but probably my worst habit is leaving leftovers in the fridge for too long. where it becomes an unrecognizable mess. I know, I know. It's disgusting. My husband and I have a fairly large fridge where things like to "get lost" and as I often put leftovers in these bowls to keep in the fridge they have become new victims. I don't eat leftovers due to bad childhood experiences lol but my husband and kids do. Unfortunately, they also tend to forget them easily and then eventually make their way into the back of our fridge only to be covered in new items they're never seen or heard from again until I'm looking for my bowls . or do a thorough cleaning of our fridge. Out of sight, out of mind maybe? So, 2 of these shells fell victim recently. Enough time has passed that I've admittedly forgotten I used them in the fridge. Then I looked for them and couldn't find them in any of our kitchen cupboards. This led to a terrifying search of the fridge, where I found her deep in the abyss, filled with something that was undoubtedly alive and growing. I decided to throw them in. Since these bowls are plastic and have a slightly porous texture, I figured it was better to throw them away than risk not being able to clean them properly. It's not their fault I got a new set but as soon as I threw them away I immediately jumped onto Amazon to order more. I didn't want to do without the great bowls for long. I think I've learned my lesson and will be more diligent now not to forget stuff in the fridge lol. The ONLY downside to these bowls for me is that they rub off easily. Besides that I really love her.
