My girlfriend recommended them and she was right - they are just great! Easy to put on, difficult for a child to take off, comfortable, warm and most importantly not slippery! This is my first walker (10 months old) so I had to find something other than socks to keep it stable. We have hardwood floors and tile throughout the house, and the other grippy shoes I bought her just didn't fit. This is a game changer! The soles are leather so you can't wash them, but if you're only going to use them indoors they really don't need much more than a wipe down.
