I wore it for the first time the other day and received two compliments (from men!), including one from a total stranger! I don't usually get compliments like that. My husband says it reminds him of the Batman logo - maybe that's why men like it. In any case, as other reviewers have said, this strap is very small. I have a relatively thin waist and I can't wait to take it off because it's so tight! The construction is actually plastic, not metal, but it feels like metal. Overall this is a great value for a belt that looks pretty damn cool. I just hope the gold/bronze finish doesn't peel off too quickly.
