Review on Portland Design Works Sodapop Frame Mount Bicycle Fenders by Dipp Samrock

Revainrating 5 out of 5

After a rainy summer.

After using these umbrellas for about a month on a wet Florida summer, it's time for a little review. This is a great set of low profile fenders that keep sand and spray out almost completely and unless you buy full coverage fenders you will be hard pressed to find a better performing fender. I found that the slight loss in protection was more than made up for by the light weight and good looks of the wings, which I have absolutely no regrets about. They have kept me dry after many sudden downpours which is inevitable but impossible to predict here in Florida. Because they're so light, I don't mind leaving them on my bike whenever I need them during the rainy summer months. However, if you want to put them on and take them off, it's easy thanks to the flexible fastening system used. Braking like one of my bikes, it can be difficult to get the rear fender to seat properly.
