1. You get real pleasure when you use the book either without backlight or in a lighted place. Reading in the dark with backlight feels like on a phone, there is no such pleasure, although the eyes get tired less. That is, the backlight here works more as an auxiliary element, which is nevertheless important in low light conditions (but I would not recommend reading in complete darkness) 2. Please note that when buying a cover, holding a book in one hand while lying on the bed will be both harder and not pleasant - since all the tactile pleasure from touching the case is lost.
- I bought an e-book for the first time, before that I read it on my phone, I wanted to rest my eyes and get a slightly different reading experience, since electronic ink is used. At first I wanted PocketBook but chose Kindle because I read a lot of bad reviews about PocketBook, about screens that break in the wind. 1. Very, very pleasant tactile sensations - like a velvet case, a nice screen. 2. Very light, it is very convenient to hold on weight. 3. High autonomy - I did not notice, but I have more than enough. 4. Smooth surface, there are no protruding buttons - I can’t even imagine otherwise, I definitely wouldn’t like it with buttons It's hard for me to judge performance, since this is my first book, but I'm also happy with everything.
- Before I found a good program for formatting books from fb2 to mobi, it was a minus for me that the book reads only mobi (you can also read pdf if you wish, but the font is very small) Now this disadvantage is in the past for me when I found the *freeLib* program. This is not advertising, the program is freely available. Transferring books from a computer also does not cause me any inconvenience - using mail, this is very easy to do.
