This ROSKIKI oversized long sleeve hoodie is a nice medium weight sweatshirt fabric, designed in a less casual style. I typically wear a small, so in viewing the provided size chart, I determined a small would be large enough to be oversized on me. Although the fit is oversized on me, it’s not quite as much as shown on the models. To attain that oversized look, I would’ve needed to size up at least one size. As it is, I can see myself wearing this hoodie with jeans, jeggings, and some styles of knit leggings. It would be really cute with shorts too, but that won’t happen at this house. The navy blue is accurate to the color represented online. I really like the snap front, which is a dressier look than a typical hoodie, plus it allows for versatility in wearing the hoodie alone or layered over another top. The design of this oversized hoodie allows for more air flow to get in, so it’s nice to layer it over another shirt when it’s cold outside. But, I found the ROSKIKI oversized long sleeve hoodie to be too warm to wear indoors where there’s centralized heating. The day I wore it inside, I found myself continually pulling up the sleeves because I was getting hot. Although they’re listed as long sleeves, they are only 3/4 sleeves on me. I personally don’t mind that on this style of top, as I usually pull my sleeves up anyway. I also appreciated the ability to unsnap the top snap(s) when I got too warm. That allowed a little more air flow, and kept me from completely overheating and being uncomfortable. The other benefit I found with the snaps was that the hoodie didn’t pull back on the neck and feel like it was choking me. In the past I’ve had hoodies where the hood was so heavy, it weighed down the neckline and made it uncomfortable on my throat. One last feature that I appreciate is the kangaroo pocket. Kangaroo pockets are generally standard on hoodies, but this one seemed a little different. It’s spacious enough for a phone plus a few smaller items, yet the opening wasn’t so large my things fell out when I leaned forward or sideways. The rib trim pocket opening is only about 4 3/4” long, so there’s not a lot of extra room when sliding my hand in the pocket…and I don’t have large hands.I always wash new clothing before wearing it, so I did launder this hoodie in cold water and hung it to dry, prior to wearing it the first time. When it was almost dry, I did pop it in the dryer for about 20 minutes on medium heat, to smooth out any wrinkles. The hoodie withstood the laundering process well, with no pilling, fading, or shrinking. I am pleased with the quality of this. The structure is good, the fabric is flaw free, the snaps are easy to work, and the seams are all straight and intact, with no missed stitches. I really like this sweatshirt and wouldn’t be opposed to owning it in several of the pretty colors offered by ROSKIKI….convincing my husband I need a closet full of these would probably be a different story. If this is a style that appeals to you, I highly recommend trying a color or two.
