Not as exciting as expected

I've used witch hazel and I've used biore nose strips but I had never heard of biore witch hazel nose strips until I came across it a few days ago. It combines two of my favorite skin care products, so of course I had to get a pack to try it. I have used both the original Biore nasal strips and the activated charcoal strips before and I would argue that the witch hazel nasal strips fall somewhere in between the two in terms of effectiveness, with the activated charcoal strips staying on top in my opinion. Nose strips are done once a week and I like to do this after a hot shower and steam my nose for a minute or two. I've found over the years that the most effective way to remove a hardened streak is to remove it slowly (and I mean inch by inch, so it can take a while) so there's less chance of the Blackhead breaks and it is removed. leave everything behind. I also like to clean from bottom to top and not from left and right. It goes against the grain, just like shaving, but I can't remember if there was a reason I started it. Love it - it works and I would use up the rest of the box. But in the end, the Biore carbon strips are still stronger, and I'd rather go back to them.

Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
