Review on πŸ• Rogz Utility Reflective Snake Half-Check Dog Collar - Medium Size (5/8-Inch) for Obedience Training by Brittney Stone

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great little collar!

** UPDATE SEE. END** When my wife and I received help, we knew we were going to have some tough days of training. She was almost a year old but was mistaken for an outdoor hunting dog as she knew the commands "fetch" and "down" but not "sit" or how to walk on a leash. Needless to say, when we got them, the word "heel" wasn't part of their lexicon, and a regular collar just didn't have the impact we wanted. We decided to try this collar. It fits a variety of sizes thanks to the adjustable strap, which was important to us as our dog is only 21lbs, she is built like a dog closer to the 30lb range. The collar fits very well with little adjustment, and the "suffocation" effect is very gentle on both engagement and release of tension. With no backyard, we walk our pup 4-5 times a day and the collar is holding up really well! Reflective properties are very handy! Nothing more to say, but so far we haven't had any problems, so I'm very satisfied! WHY 5 STARS? - The price is extremely competitive and comes with Amazon Prime! - Excellent quality, survived more than 4 walks a day - Works very well, doesn't stick like some collars. Overall we are very satisfied with this collar and can only recommend it! **EDIT March 18, 2012 that these collars are actually "useless" as they don't fix a pulling dog, they just make it a little harder. Although I have noticed a definite improvement in our dog's behavior off the leash with this collar, it was nothing compared to when we received our lightweight Herm Sprenger Prong 14" collar! Our dog stopped gaining so much immediately and has been fine ever since. While I'm not deducting a single star from the product (as all the positives remain) I doubt this is the optimal collar for teaching a dog not to pull!
