We gave up hope of ever being able to teach our daughter to blow her own nose on her own. There was a second aspirator, but he was not of any assistance. We found out about the babyvac on the internet, and at first we thought it was a hilarious challenge: to pick up snot with a vacuum cleaner! However, we did end up purchasing it, and we do not have any regrets about doing so, as the snot ped in just four days. I tried it out on myself and discovered that it does not cause any discomfort. The sound, in general, is something that the child dislikes. I am pleased with the purchase that I made!
