Review on 🔒 Kensington Blackbelt Surface Go Rugged Case - Protective Solution for Surface Go and Surface Go 2 (K97651WW) by Aaron Gonzales

Overall this is a WONDERFUL cover! Everything about its design is amazing. Perfect fit for my new Surface Go 2 tablet, great touchscreen, weight and overall design. However, instead of buying the Microsoft Pencil ($100), I opted for the wonderful Renaisser Pen for Surface ($30). Works great and saved me a lot of money. The Renaisser Pencil is now 0.36 inches in diameter, while the official Microsoft Surface Pen is 0.38 inches in diameter. It doesn't seem like much, but it's obviously very important. And that's important, because the cable that comes with the Kensington BlackBelt case that connects to the case (which holds the pen on a 30cm cord when it's not attached to the main integrated clip on the left edge of the case and around to prevent it from being lost or falling on the floor) has a second clip at the end of the cable. This secondary clip is designed to keep the pen permanently attached to the lanyard, even when the pen is removed from the main fixed clip on the left edge of the case. Well, the extra clip at the end of the tether is TOO BIG for my Renaisser stylus. Doesn't last at all. It might have worked if my pen was just 0.02 inch thicker to fit the Microsoft stylus, I don't know. All I know is that it does NOT hold my .36" Renaissance pen. On the contrary, the primary built-in fixed clip, located on the left edge of the BlackBelt case itself, turns out to be PERFECT regardless of its diameter! 100% durable and super. If the clip at the end of the cable used a clip of exactly the same diameter and tension, I would be happy! Unfortunately, this is not the case. So I'm not very happy, at least in terms of the cable and its clamp which is larger than the main clip on the case so the case is great the fixed main clip on the case is great and the cable and its larger clip are totally useless at least for my renaisser grip I wish the kensington sole had one separate cord with a tighter, smaller diameter clip (to match the fact that the primaries fix the clip to the body) and they don't, so I removed the cord and threw it away The Renaisser handle simply slides into the main clip until I detach it for use and then put it back on. No leash is used although I would like one. The BlackBelt case is also amazing. Highly recommended. The glove-like strap on the back is a nice design that allows you to hold the desk securely on the back with your whole open hand while pressing the screen or using the stylus with the other hand. It's as stable as you could ask for, with one hand poking through the back strap like a glove.
