Why does this stuff get such good reviews? When my old bottle of White Lightning ran out I decided to give it a try based on the great reviews and 400 mile claim. Dry white flash only lasted 200-300 miles. This stuff doesn't go 100 miles at best and most likely 60 miles in ideal dry conditions before the transmission starts making noise. For me, that's at least 2-3 uses a week, making it the most expensive chain lube I've ever used. Don't forget to put a rag under the entire drivetrain and a little behind the bike so the material is thin and wet. Better yet, use wd40, although technically it's not a lube at all, it probably lasts longer than Purple, extremely {very bad}. I figured I might have been harsh on this review given all the positive reviews on here (which is why I bought this stuff in the first place), so I contacted the company. The call I had I think the owner was absolutely awful. Instead of taking the opportunity to win back a disgruntled customer, he scolded and blamed me. Well, everything I could do or have done in the past. I felt like the abusive parent treated me like a chronically rebellious child rather than a valued client. Only my sales training and being polite kept me from hanging up. When I contacted you I thought about deleting this review, but the review is still valid and I strongly recommend buying from someone else. I am currently using the Muc Off product with good results and the white zip I used previously has worked well although I am unable to clean the chain according to cycle medicine. Possibly the worst support call I've ever had and 10 minutes I'll never call back.
