They come in very handy when serving french fries. Originally I wanted to go with the classic reds, but I liked the blacks for the drama. It's one of those things that you don't really need but are so cheap you can't resist. The quality seems pretty good, I can't think of a situation where the plastic thickness would be an issue. It's too small to put both a hamburger and fries in, but I only put fries and onion rings in it. The basket must be big enough to hold one of my sandwiches. It would be ridiculous not to get the earbuds at the same time, they just complete the look
