A simple solution to a complex problem
The product is thin enough not to interfere with the closing of the laptop lid. The product also fitted my Dell Latitude snugly without blocking the microphone and sensors. This should be mounted well the first time, as the adhesive is only suitable for the first application. The sticker that protects the glue from being applied is not properly centered on one of the 6 caps in the package.
