I'm sure most people have an Apple stylus and pencil, but with these tips on an Apple Pencil (covering the charging port) I can I only carry one device with me and have both a stylus and an apple pencil depending on what my app needs. I don't know about all of you, but when I'm drawing with a real pencil I tend to flip it over to erase, which is usually just a matter of habit. With an Apple Pencil with the original cover, you would make a loud click every time you did it. It's better protected with this tip, so that's another good reason to have one. I was originally looking for just one, but there are only 3 packs. But let's be honest if you lose one (which can happen) I think it's always good to have a few extra, or if you're a family that has some apple crayons then this can be 3 crayons with one new supply type of use. just replace the back cover. This is just a case for the Apple Pencil and it appears to be very well made and matches the finish and look of the pencil. If you happen to use the Belkin Apple Pencil holder, the covers will fit in this case rather than the old one (in case you must know). Overall perfect for my use and I am very happy with the product.
