Fits tight. But after having 3 kids I wanted her to be a little looser in the waist. I ordered a size up, from 12 to 14. I liked the cut better in the shoulder and chest areas, but the area around the waist has expanded. This is too loose! It was like wearing a small midi skirt, but I was already wearing a swim skirt so it didn't fit. Also, I found it short. I don't think I have a particularly long torso. I'm only 5ft 3" and felt like it could be a bit longer. So when you go from 12 to 14, the middle line doesn't get longer, the top one just stretches. Maybe I didn't need that much space. But overall the tankini didn't suit my body type. I have returned the two sizes I ordered and will continue my search for the perfect top.
