Excellent value for money juicer

I've just launched this juicer and I'm not disappointed! It's definitely no frills and basic, that's true, but it was exactly what I was looking for. Before investing big bucks in an expensive brand, I wanted to see if I would use the juicer enough to justify the cost. Needless to say, I'm so pleased with it that I have no plans to replace it any time soon. It's easy to use, amazingly durable, and bigger than I thought it would be. I almost immediately squeezed about ten ponds of carrots - the engine just blew through them, clean and easy. I added a Golden Delicious apple to the batch for natural sweetening and it was delicious. I have to say that even the PULSE was delicious! I saved some and chilled in the fridge for some sort of appetizer like carrot and apple sauce. I also added some to a vegetarian lentil soup I made - yum! And here's a little secret from a man of Italian descent - I mixed a little carrot paste into the pasta sauce to soften the astringency of the tomatoes. I usually add some beef and/or pork to sweeten it, but one of my daughters is a vegetarian so I use carrots instead when she comes over to eat pasta. The pulp works great! It blends well and smoothly and it's very easy to control the amount you use. I haven't had a chance to juice other fruits or veggies yet, but I will. In short I thought it was worth the money, especially compared to some other expensive brands. I'm glad I took the risk!
