I purchased this to install a backup camera on the roof of my truck on the passenger side of my truck facing the road from that side of my truck. Cameras are expensive so I want the dual suction cups to protect the camera as much as possible. I hunt and travel a lot on logging roads or jeep trails and can't see that side of the road myself. This idea of putting a camera on the roof on the other side of my truck and with the 7 inch monitor that was meant for the backup cameras on my truck and cabover camper on the dash I will now be able to see that side of the Street. now gives me about 50% more field of view when hunting deer and bear from the road.
