I chose these lights because I've had the same lights for about 18 years (yes they still work) but when I installed them. the fact that you could see all the wires. I found that the wires were very visible, either because the wood wasn't as thick as others I've bought in the past, or because the wires were thick because the lights were old. So I decided on these new ones and I love them. You can barely see the wires because they are much thinner and the wires appear black or maybe dark green. These lights sparkle beautifully and are very easy to hang on the Christmas tree. They are super light and the color is perfect. I went for the warm ones and they are just great. I highly recommend it.
