Review on ⌚ Timeless Elegance: MVMT Women's Minimalist Vintage Watch by Dana Bullock

After 27 years of wearing the same watch - the beautiful Movado - I have decided to get a different watch for each day. I was impressed by a friend's MVMT. When it arrived the instructions were in a long folder with 6 types of watches. There were drawings but minimal description of how to start the clock; interchangeable strap; set the grid strip; adjust the chain links and mount the nato strap. Information about the MVMT itself was also written. ALL in small, tiny LIGHT font that was barely legible with bifocal lenses (maybe I got it wrong here – this watch is only for young, not a 73-year-old woman with low vision?) Before I turned to look at the watch I wanted make sure they fit as i have a wide wrist. There were no instructions on how to close the latch. It was a bit unusual and I couldn't close it at all. So I went online and found a video. At the beginning of the video, the woman remarked that the shutter was "unique" - the translation was difficult. After watching it three times I got it. The fit was perfect. Now start the clock. The instructions said (again in lower case) "Pull out the crown 1 click and rotate". However, there was a small red plastic "button" on the crown that didn't move. Eventually it broke and I was able to pull out the crown and set the watch. There was a plastic cover on the front and back that was difficult to remove. Now I'm finally wearing a watch. After 45 minutes of trying to figure it out. Honestly, buying a new watch shouldn't take that long. My Movado was a 25th birthday present from my employer. It's been almost 28 years but I remember taking it out of the box, snapping the strap and voila! So please contact MVMT for more detailed instructions with pictures instead of drawings and larger print. Seems to be a good watch.
