Review on 🚫 Sennheiser HD-201 Lightweight Over Ear Headphones - Discontinued Model by Ninh Quang Truong ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I am amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

Good for classical and jazz, vocals. By the nature of the sound, they are similar to expensive Sennheiser and AKG, that is, without "pop". Those who are not interested in acoustic music, it is better not to take these headphones: they will not hear electronic "thump" and "tick" there. For this, a little more expensive, the Sennheiser EH-150 will do. Its pros: Good detail throughout the entire range: they convey the features of sound production (double bass sounds exactly like a double bass, and not a bass guitar or something synthetic, both a string and a soundboard are heard in violins), vocals are legible, good microdynamics, even tonal balance, there is no coloration sound, the sound stage is not very deep, but correct, not deformed. Very neat sound, elegant, but by no means boring (classical, jazz). Turn off the tone controls! Some cons: Considering the price, there are no shortcomings in the sound! A sufficiently powerful output amplifier is needed: it can be difficult for a portable player to "rock" them. If only about the body to talk about the shortcomings: it creaks when you pick it up.

Got pros: Low price, affordable monitor lugs, frequency response is good enough for this price range. Cons below: For such ears, I did not notice any shortcomings.
