Review on 🌴 Island Leggings: Trendy Women's Workout Wear & Swim Cover Ups by Missy Dawson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Where have you been all my life?

These shorts are amazing! I'm 5'5", 175 pounds and let's just say my hips are a bit bulky (I'm actually one step closer to being a mermaid). However, I hate traditional bikini bottoms and even swim shorts to wear. I'm not flattered. But they slide down well and don't bunch up when I walk. I ordered a size up as I usually wear a size 12 dress. I was afraid they would be too small but I did definitely not i guess i know stretchy sheer fabric can be a problem for girls like me who have a bit more junk in their pants i haven't worn them in the water yet i bought them for our cruise but i plan on ordering a second pair because they are amazing i usually wear tankinis to swim and they look great with it i also tried it on with a regular triangle top and it looked good rl who is shy going in a bikini - I highly recommend these ****** Updated 11/12/15 ***** I liked the black version so much that I also bought the grey/blue version of it and although as expected it was so fit, I am disappointed with the quality of the fabric. Before purchasing, I asked if the fabric would show through when stretched (you know, like a yoga brand whose tracksuit bottoms looked more like tights than pants). The straight answer is no, they don't show through, which is the case with the black pair I discussed above. Well when I put on the grey/blue pair you can CLEARLY see through the underside. I could see my underwear and my skin where there was no underwear. Given that this is the bottom of a swimsuit and I wouldn't wear underwear to swim, the fact that they show through is unacceptable. I am returning the grey/blue pair but keeping the black ones. I also downgraded my rating by one star because the bottom of the swimsuit shouldn't show through when stretched. I still love them but ladies if you have a bigger butt like mine stay away from light colored shorts.
