I bought this to light up the storage space under the platform bed in my Winnebago and it's almost perfect for what I need. The light is bright, the power cord is long enough to reach an outlet but still has some slack, and the on/off switch is accessible and easy to use. My only issue was that the magnetic lantern mounts are designed to stick to ferrous metal and not the wooden platform of my bed. I solved this problem by drilling a few small holes in the wooden crossbar and using nylon zip ties to attach the lantern instead of metal struts. It worked well. I love the light so much I would order another to illuminate the area under the kitchen cabinets in an RV, but instead I'm looking for one that mounts to a wood surface with screws. The seller could expand their sale to metal or wood mounts.
