The moment the little box arrived I knew it wouldn't fit the iPhone 12 Pro Max very well. I wanted to use the CD holder in landscape mode to better see the map navigation. Its grip position (bottom-left, bottom-right, and bottom) leaves most of the phone dangling and loose, causing the phone to pop right out on bumps. This would be fine for smaller phones, but avoid it if you have an iPhone max.
