Review on 🍴 Cadeaux Melamine Toscana Butter Knife by Fred Meeks

I really like the quality of this oiler. This is indeed durable melamine. I actually bought it as a spoon holder when my housekeepers broke the spoon holder I bought in France over 15 years ago. I hate spoon rests that only have a tiny indentation for the spoon head to sit in. I often use many other utensils for cooking (including lathes, spiders, even a couple of spoons - we're a family of 6!), and regular spoon coasters don't really fit. Enter this rectangular butter dish that won't shatter if dropped off the counter! It offers enough space for two normal OXO cutlery pieces and a tasting spoon or a fork and is of course very easy to clean. I don't usually have this problem, but on my screen this item looked a little blue-grey; personally, however, it's definitely French blue. I don't hate it, but it doesn't fit my decor like I'd hoped. I'll probably keep looking for a new spoon rest, but I might go for the antique white variant. I also used a butter dish to serve the butter (get it) and it's perfect for the Kerrygold block. Any European-style butter will do.
