I have a lazy eye like everyone else. I bought several eye patches and there was no comparison. It is very good. Although not the most aesthetic, in terms of style they were the most comfortable and functional. I have fine medium length hair and all the eye patches are tangled in my hair. This eye patch has a thick band so it doesn't tangle in my hair. Many other bandages did not cover the eyes well. Generous area to allow you to keep your other eye open feels much better. The only issue I had was that some of the inner areas of the nose got poked/rubbed and the side of my nose became, well, every face is a different size and facial feature. Lightweight fit and perfect fit. As I appeal to the lazy eye and only wear it at home, comfort and functionality are the only things I care about. If you have to wear a bandage outside the house and a large bandage makes you uncomfortable, just buy a nice bandage off the street. I haven't tried every bandage in the world, but I liked this style more than any other. I bought several. Oh and my dad used it after his eye surgery and he agreed. Something to think about: I have a big head for a woman - Elaine Benis stands for you Seinfeld fans, so I'm not sure how comfortable this patch will be on smaller and/or narrower heads.
