I'm quite an abusive camera owner so I'll keep that in mind. I bought this camera to replace my Kodak P&S which I wrecked on the beach. I spend a lot of time near the water, swimming, kayaking, white water rafting etc. and a lot of time in harsh environments like sports fields, beach, purse. This camera was offered at a very good price (perhaps because of the color) so I couldn't refuse. I've taken it to the pool, kayak, ocean, and field with no problems. The design of the back wall leaves no room for sand and dirt. It also comes with a removable battery, which is a HUGE benefit for me. I hated how quickly my last camera ran out of expensive batteries. Now I just take it out and charge it before I drive and don't worry. The picture quality is pretty good. There are ups and downs, but overall it's still good. Sometimes a bad picture is due to a smudge or drop of water on the lens, which is easy to wipe off and just as easy to wipe off with a flush lens. Even if I try to take a picture too quickly before the camera has time to focus. it tends to be blurry. This happens when I try to take a close-up shot and may also be due to my instability. The menus are fairly easy to navigate and the camera is just the right size (I don't like weightless, skinny cameras, they're easy to drop). I had no issues with the camera or video quality. I am very happy with my purchase and several people have asked where they can find the same camera. I would buy this camera again.
