Looks great and makes the 2DS so much more comfortable!

This is a high quality case and probably the best you can get for your 2DS. Feels like a very nice material. In my opinion, this greatly improves the feel-good factor of the 2DS. The texture of the case, the light weight it adds to the system, and the way it smoothes out the edges of the 2DS make it incredibly comfortable and perfect for my large hands. There are several things to consider. The housing dangles a little next to the camera. But it doesn't look bad. In terms of playability, I thought the case might give the face buttons a hollow feel and make them hard to press, but it turned out to be normal and not a problem. at least for the ABXY Start and Select buttons. Pressing the power button is a bit tedious as the case is pretty far down once it's on. The worst culprit, however, is the D-Pad. It is very low inside the case and very bulky to use. Maybe my 2DS has a recessed d-pad, I don't know, but maybe other people could come across it in that case too. I recently bought my 2DS and it was brand new. However, all other buttons are fine and accessing every part of the 2DS is very easy. I was looking for the most comfortable model in the 3DS range. As someone with big hands, I found the 2DS to be the second most comfortable to hold with this PDP body. I personally would rank the 2DS XL as the most comfortable and the New 3DS XL as the third most comfortable. However, without this case I would put the 2DS below the new 3DS in terms of comfort, so this case really makes a huge difference. I chose this black as I felt it would go best with my all blue 2DS and it makes the console look much more attractive. Maybe this black case would look even better with an all red 2DS or even a white one. All in all, I highly recommend this case. It feels nice, looks good and greatly improves the comfort of the system. If you don't mind the inconvenience of the directional pad, or maybe you have a solution to the problem, then this case is practically flawless. Most 3DS games use a round frame anyway, so it's not a huge loss. And of course, this problem can only occur on my 2DS. Check it out if you're interested! UPDATE: After trying the same case on a new Mario Maker 2DS, I am firmly convinced that the previously mentioned D-Pad issue is most likely a bug on my particular 2DS system. The D-Pad on my Mario Maker 2DS immediately felt bulkier than I first felt, and it's definitely easier to use, even with a case. It also looks pretty smooth with black so I've added a picture for you to see. This fixes a real issue I was having with the case and I have to say I'm very happy with it.
