Basically easy to assemble but I had a problem, the zips were inside out and almost impossible to zip up. I spent 15 minutes installing them where they should be but then locking them up was easy. The wands connect very easily and once you unwrap them they work well and easily. The light puts out more than enough light (I expected to use extra light but was pleasantly surprised). Although the diffuser could be fixed differently. Its hooks are difficult to hook in once the cube is assembled and I often want to drop it to use the hole in the top for top down photography, but first you have to spend 10 minutes fiddling with the diffuser to solve it. I ended up gluing the magnets to the bars in the front where they were attached and replacing the clips I used with a steel ball chain (keychain) and I just glued it to the magnets to hold them in place, and they are very easy to drop if I want to use the top hole. In general I like it. Not perfect, but very close. Also, plastic backdrops are much better than cloth backdrops (one of the reasons I chose this one) because folded cloth backdrops always have creases and don't show up well in photos.
