This is very cool! I really like lighting as this is the first time I have used/implemented "smart" technology in my home! I will say it took me about 3.5 hours to get the lights working properly with Alexa (and I'm pretty tech savvy) and I almost sent them back. Just a few things that can save you a headache. My internet supports 2.4 and 5 GHz. Unfortunately, both only have one login, so I couldn't select the 2.4GHz frequency I needed to set up. After playing around with this I found it was an easy fix. If you have this issue where the light starts flashing to check for pairing, just move away from the router. I went outside and when I did, the router connected to a 2.4GHz connection and it connected almost immediately. Once paired with the app, Alexa didn't work properly with the backlight. Group/Location in the Alexa app. 😩The installation process was the only reason I couldn't give it 5 stars. But I'm glad I "made my way" and didn't give up. I think they work well and are fun to play with. In fact, it shines brighter than the native lights I had. They appear to be excellent value for money that I have spent.
