Swing and slide with Stella

About a month ago we adopted a kitten that some people left behind after they moved. Stella is very cute and really easy to please, but she doesn't eat this food. We found that she does not like small grain kibble so based on the description I was hoping this one would work. She actually walked over to her bowl as if it had poison in it. Then she sniffed it and put a piece in her mouth, which she spat out just before she left. sigh, I was sure it would make a decent meal for her, but it looks like we'll never know. She likes large sliced foods and crunches. I'm still in the process of switching her to a different/better food, but I'm no longer sure what it will be. The vet told me that the best cat food is "what they eat," and I'm beginning to side with him on the matter. We've tried Blue Buffalo, Tiki Cat, Beyond, Purina True Instinct, and Natural Balance with no good results. However, after reading some of the reviews of this struvite crystal inducing food, I'm really relieved that it's no good. Now she eats Fancy Feast Chicken Pate in the morning and Meow Mix in the evening and feels good. I think we'll leave each other alone, at least for now.
