Convenient and easy to pack
This is basically the same as wearing thick, hard-soled nylon socks. My kids don't seem to complain and they don't seem uncomfortable. They are true to size, but if your child has thick ankles they may be tight in this area. My youngest son has small hobbit feet and needs help getting dressed while my eldest son has skinny long legs and has no problem slipping in and out.
