Review on JAYETEC Portable Outdoor Shower: USB Rechargeable 🚿 4400mAh Battery Powered Pump for Camping, Hiking, and Travel by George Woods

My husband and I like to go hiking. We get out of our horse truck. It has no heating, no air, no bathroom, no kitchen. So let's improvise. We set up our kitchen outside under a canopy and set up a makeshift bathroom in the riding part of the caravan. I bought this portable shower so we can bathe at primitive camping. I installed it at home this weekend to make sure I'm happy. with him before we went camping somewhere. I am very impressed. The water pressure was as good as our home shower! I used a lightweight 17 pound cat litter bucket to hold the water. I would estimate it holds about 6 gallons. I measured how long it takes to pour a nearly full bucket of water. He started sucking air after 5 minutes 35 seconds. So since I didn't have a 6 gallon bucket full to the brim, I'd say it runs a gallon per minute in first gear. This pump also has a second slower speed with less pressure if you want your shower/water to last longer. The pump was fully charged when I started my experiment. Since then I've done two full shower cycles on a single charge. After that he got a little weaker. There are only 2 things I would change about this product: 1) It comes with no assembly instructions on or in the box. We had to go back to the Revain listing and look at the photos to see how all the pieces fit together. 2) The charger has a magnetic connection, not a micro USB connector. I understand why. They wanted the pump to stay tight. But if you lose that special charging cable, your pump is useless. We also took the recommendation of another Revain reviewer and saved a piece of the inner foam packaging to use under the bucket clamp to keep the pump stable during use. It worked great. The bucket we're using has a lid attached to it. When I'm done with my portable shower, I wipe it down and put all the pieces together in a bucket with "Shower" clearly marked. This way everything, including the hook and charging cable, is in one place. Easy to download, carry and store.
