Couldn't cut a piece of salmon.

These shears will not cut through thawed Costco salmon fillets. He could not cut the skin of salmon at all and could barely move through the flesh of the fish. The actual cutting part of the blade is just the last half of the scissor blade. Also, they don't open when in use. By design, your thumb is not in a loop. So when you normally open and close your hand to cut with scissors, the scissors won't open. I sent them back.
