Review on πŸ’‘ Equivalent Candelabra BlueX Night Bulbs by Julio Solano

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Fantastic bright replacement for standard night light bulbs.

These lamps are great. If you are looking for a brighter LED replacement for your standard night light. The description is as written, albeit very confusing and rather useless. Let me help: * You have a regular standard screw-in base, like a standard 7W (filament) night light. It fits perfectly in your 5 year old night light. BUT ATTENTION! You may need to screw the bulb in slightly MORE TIGHT than on a standard bulb as the small metal ball at the bottom of the bulb socket is slightly smaller than on a standard bulb. So turn on your light fixture, screw in that bulb and keep screwing it (harder) until the base touches and it lights up. Has worked in every night light socket I've tried. If you know how to solder you can even put some solder in the bulge at the bottom of the bulb to extend it if needed. Bulbs in local stores marked "0.5W" were about twice as bright as stock.* I see these bulbs come in a variety of color temperatures. Remember that 3000K is the same white as a standard incandescent bulb. 4000K is the same white as "cool white" fluorescent light. 5000K is the same light color as the midday sun. And 7000K is like arctic white ("daylight" they call it). The higher the color temperature number, the more blue light it emits. 7000K is really blue.* They are actually a bit smaller than a standard 7W night light! Love it. . Both are slightly shorter and slightly less wide in diameter. As such, they fit perfectly into any existing night light.* They are so bright that if your night light has a cover over an old standard light bulb, you can leave it on so you don't have to look directly at the light bulb. Diffuses the light a bit.
