With proper loading, two shots wet, two dry, two after styling. First let me say that I have curly hair that hides some thin spots just because it frizzes. However, as I get older, I find more and more thin spots. But I really love this thing. It's that easy to use. Pull out the bottom with a sponge, open the top for paint, easy to apply. No spray so it doesn't get everywhere. I sleep in it and it doesn't end up on my pillow. I wash my hair every other day and it's still two days. In fact, I was in a hurry one morning and had my hair washed and barely had to touch it up (day three). I was sweating in him and he wasn't running. I sweat at night and like I said, it doesn't get on my pillow. I touch my hair and it doesn't fall on my fingers. The only time I noticed it was when I scratched my head and saw something on my nails. But here's the best part. I have a group of friends that I meet monthly. So if you're not sure, give them a call. And the "jar" is so small that you can put it in your purse when you worry about touching up. I don't know how long it will last but after a week it looks unused. Oh I almost forgot, this is great for touching up gray roots too!
