I installed a fiberglass scamp on my trailer that has a rounded profile. The fact that it wasn't flat like most trailers made installation difficult. It took me over an hour to complete the 15 minute job. The included bolts didn't work, so I had to buy 2" #10 stainless steel mounting bolts, nylock washers and nuts, and grind the brackets at an angle to keep the tops flat to avoid spring pin insertion in a severe situation Well worth the effort.In the locked forward position it prevents the door from opening if somehow unlocked.This is a great security addition for our little egg.
