This socket holder from Lisle is exactly what I was looking for. I bought a complete set of regular and deep sockets from Harbor Freight (I don't mind going to Harbor Freight for such simple stuff). When they were bought they came in this ridiculously difficult to open bracket that took me a screwdriver and wire cutters to open. After the bracket pack was opened, each individual socket was attached to the main bracket with a black plastic clip that held the sockets tighter than the drum. I had to use a hammer and screwdriver to remove the socket holder from the socket itself. Very, very frustrating, and I didn't want any of those metal splints with little square holders because I've struggled with them for most of my adult life. As I bought a set of 8 regular and 8 deep sockets this Lisle holder was the perfect size and I can even add more if needed. When it arrived I found it to be of good quality as it was a significant weight. I don't mean that badly, to me it meant it would actually hold the sockets in place and wouldn't go anywhere if I moved it or dropped it on the workbench. I'm planning to mount it to the wall so the magnet holding everything in the center needs to be strong and durable, which has proven to be the case so far. It's as neat and clean as you could ask for at a price cheaper than some other socket holders I've seen. I am very happy with my purchase and may buy another one when I get all the readings. Highly recommended
