Yes, I bought this a while ago and was disappointed. Seeing/hearing the description as snug, I thought the blade was properly adjusted, like a barber's. What I was looking for was something that would give a really sharp edge. Once installed I was better off just using the Andis blade that came with the clipper. 5 hour shadow after shaving with this blade. And that with a clean, smooth shave in the shower (dry, of course). Worse on my head when trying to shave my head. You need to shave with a razor to shave your head thoroughly. When set correctly, it should remove 99% of hair in one stroke. This blade must be held in the same place several times. But leaves spiky hair behind. The only plus for me is that the way the blade is made doesn't rust as easily as Andis does. I understand that every hair/texture/skin is different. If you have unruly hair, stay away and check out Anivo products for a sharp cut and professional blade adjustment. If you don't live in a subway-like city and can walk to the spitzer. And if it helps, I'll take care of dogs and have regular access to sharpeners, cleaning supplies, etc. If you don't mind spiky hair, get Promate.
