I am currently training at AST A school and they use the same fins. They are heavy, durable and military grade. It is not as easy to swim with them as with other fins, but strong legs will not overcome anything. Basically, if you are looking for a fin for recreational use, this is not it. If you want to train for AST, AIRR, CCT, PJ, SEAL or CDQC then get these as they will be given to you by Indoc or A School.
