I know these shoes are ugly BUT I bought them because I work 10-12 hours a day as a hairdresser . I wear them with flared pants or bootleg pants that have enough inseam to cover half of the boot. :-). 20 years of walking and standing on porcelain stoneware can put a lot of strain on the joints. I have a bit of tendinitis in my knees and they really help because they don't make it worse. My legs feel good at the end of the day. I have the 38 wide and they fit wide enough to accommodate thicker and more comfortable socks. (I have a US size 7.5 C/D). Highly recommended!
