Review on AmazonCommercial Heavy Duty 12 Inch Dustpan Grey by Michelle Chauvin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Sweepers are good but the tiled floor just scatters dirt sometimes, and a broom will fix that.

I like a good sturdy wide scoop for many uses. In the kitchen, crumbs and other items need to be swept up before I break out the Swiffer to finish the floor. After working the lawn, sweeping up leaves and other things, a good dustpan will help you pick up the leftovers and throw them in the bin. They are big enough to be placed and brought to them so you don't have to hold them. They're tall and wide so they can hold larger items like leaves, grass clippings, and debris. I always seem to do this, but I can't help it. I get a lot of junk mail, flyers, business mail, credit card offers, bank statements, utility bills, health insurance information, and so on. Every few weeks I shred anything that might contain my personal information so some garbage collector can't register a credit card in my name or get my bank account numbers. The problem is that when the trash can starts to fill up and I pull out the bucket to empty it, I often end up with scraps on the wooden floor. I need to get the sweeper and sweep it up, which could be a problem. With these dustpans, I just set one down, grab a small nylon-bristled broom, and sweep it up. I need a minute instead of 15 minutes with the sweeper. They are very useful for quick sweeping and spot work. As there are four of them, one is outside (including cars), one for the kitchen, upstairs and one for the basement. Finally, there is a spare that I can keep in a convenient place in case I lose track of one of the others. highlighted.
