The smooth surface of the skin feels AMAZING. I want to put it anywhere, especially on the armrests of my chair. BUT. I would NOT recommend this for a mouse palm rest if you use one. I use k70. and it fits perfectly with the back feet on the keyboard down and the front feet up. But it still fits well even with the front legs pointing down. However, I removed the stock K70 palm rest because together they pushed my keyboard too far back. If you want to use a mouse stand and you have enough space, choose a standard surface. no smooth skin. I need more surface area, so not only is smooth skin a bad surface for my mouse's wrist, but this stand is too big for me to use with my mouse. Glad I didn't buy it for that. . It works great with the k70 (with the standard palm rest removed). Smooth skin Not suitable for mouse palm rest.
