Review on Zoo Med Reptisun Terrarium Hood by Melissa Oldroyd

Was very happy to receive and test this. Quite expensive compared to other UVB devices but I figured it would be an investment hoping I could get many years of use out of it. The LEDs work fine but the UV tube flickered and then went out? I'm not sure if the problem is with the hose or the hood itself. The box felt quite rough as if it had been taken out before. It doesn't bother me much as long as the device works. Looks like I'll have to buy some lightbulbs to try this out. I think it would be a gamble to buy any type of these UV lamps that require shipping. Update: The device was indeed defective. Unfortunately I had to replace it. The box has definitely been opened before. Bought another device, works great. I love it when it works
