Review on πŸŽ’ Versatile and Stylish Mardingtop Motorcycle Traveling Backpack in Black (28L) by Mike Starling

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Model 6347 28L, excellent packaging!

Superbly designed medium sized packaging! NOT to be confused with the 200 series shown here on Revain on the same page, MODEL 6347 28L is much better in my opinion and so well thought out! And extremely low price. less than $40. Wow. First, it has a thin profile when viewed from the side; very important benefit. What they've done with this backpack is spread the load you're carrying across the length and width of your back so the load is close to your back. This is a big deal! This avoids pulling the load back and shoulders and keeps the weight close to the body. The trend in tactical backpacks in recent years has been to simply increase the number of compartments on the front of the pack, thereby adding weight further and further away from the wearer's back. This adds volume, but carrying such a load is tiring and strains muscles and ligaments, causing a person to lean forward when hiking to compensate for poor weight distribution. This Mardington 6347 seems designed to avoid that and is very comfortable to wear when eating close to the body. In addition, it has two large mesh pockets and two smaller side pockets inside, two bottle pockets outside and three semi-flat large pockets on the top, front and bottom for a first aid kit, survival items and more other small items that may need quick access. It features two drawstrings on each side for attaching longer items, compression straps, attachment points on the bottom for attaching a tent, sleeping pad, etc., and a molle for additional options. The shoulder straps are well padded, but the hip straps are not, for this backpack size they fit. I only wish they would pack this exact design and relative measurements into a larger backpack for a multi-day hike! This is good for a lightweight bug bag (the more a person knows, the less they need to carry), a hunting or survival backpack, or even just a day hiking or motorcycle backpack. Highly recommended! Buy one before they stop making it. And other packaging designers, watch out!
